The CPD status of your dog is up to you
Class A For Single Puppy Or Canine
This is the most popular registration for new applicants. This is purebred status registration as well as your resource for proof of ownership. Photos are required for Class A Registration.
Class B Single Puppy or Canine
This class is reserved for members with dogs registered within our database without breed photo verification. Mixed breed dogs can also be registered under this class. With Class B registration, you will still enjoy the benefits of the Certified Purebred Database such as free litter registration, Family Tree Reports, ID cards, Lost Puppy Campaign and more.
If your dog is a purebred but your registration certificate is noted, "Class B" or "Breed Status Proclaimed by owner", please click here if you would like to submit your dog's photo and upgrade to Class A registration.
Class AA
This is a special registration class. The only way your puppy or canine can achieve this status is if both, the sire and dam of your puppy or canine are registered with the CPD as well as the past 4 generations of your puppy or canine.

Class KC For Breeders
This registration class means that your kennel is registered with the Certified Purebred Database Kennel Club. Each puppy whelped within your kennel will receive class A registration status. To find out more about kennel registration or how to get started, click here.
